In an era when it’s easy to be cynical about ethics, corporate leadership, and politics, we believe Dee Hock’s words have special significance.

We established this award in 2005 to honor and celebrate the memory of the late Jo Kittner of Capital One, a dedicated and contributing member of our organization who during her tenure consistently inspired and impressed upon her colleagues the values of excellence, leadership, and the highest ethical standards.
